FTB academyplain-language guide
The flamingo, set free. FTB is a community rebuild of a DeFi protocol on Neo N3 — a fixed supply, public proofs, and no hidden mechanics. This page explains every part in plain terms: what it is, why it's here, and how to use it. It's a guide, not the app — each card links to the real page.
In one minute: you hold your own keys in a Neo wallet; FTB never touches them. The token is capped at 100,000,000, forever, read straight from the chain. Flamingo-era holders claim their share from a published snapshot. From there you can swap tokens, earn a cut of the fees, lend and borrow, and vote on what changes. Every number you see is on-chain — nothing is counted on a server you can't check.

your wallet
top-right · connect
isA Neo N3 wallet (such as NeoLine) that holds your keys and signs on your behalf.
whyFTB never holds your keys or your funds. You sign every action yourself; the site only prepares it.
useClick connect. Each action opens a review that spells out exactly what you're signing, in words.
the FTB token
home · supply
isThe protocol's token, hard-capped at 100,000,000 — supply and cap are read live from the chain, never from a config file.
whyA fixed, honest supply. No stealth minting is possible — the cap is enforced by the contract itself.
useNothing to do — it's the unit everything else is priced and weighted in. Watch supply vs cap on the home tiles.
claim (migration)
claim ↗
isHow Flamingo-era holders receive FTB, from a published snapshot of who held what before the exploit.
whyIt's the migration from the old protocol — made whole, in the open. One claim per address, ever, floored to the 100M cap.
useOpen Claim, paste any snapshot address to see its exact breakdown today. The button activates at MainNet launch.
explorer
explorer ↗
isA reader for any transaction: paste a transaction id and see it in plain terms.
whySo you can confirm what moved, from and to whom, the GAS it cost, and that it's final — without reading machine code.
useOpen Explorer, paste the id. Tokens show as logos, parties as addresses; the id is the only raw text.
put your FTB to work
swap
trade ↗
isAn exchange: trade one token for another straight from on-chain pools (0.3% fee, constant-product pricing).
whyTrade peer-to-pool with no middleman and no custody. Prices are asset-against-asset — no fiat, no oracle in the way.
useOpen Trade, choose what you give and get, check the quote and price impact, then sign.
earn
earn ↗
isStaking: lock FTB to earn a share of the protocol's fees — 2 parts in 9 of every fee goes to stakers.
whyHolders share the revenue the protocol earns. The split is fixed in the contract, not a setting someone can change quietly.
useOpen Earn, stake your FTB, and claim what's accrued. The yield shown is measured from the chain, never promised.
lend & borrow
lend ↗
isA peer-to-peer order book: a lender escrows FTB and sets the terms; a borrower locks NEO or GAS as collateral and takes the FTB.
whyCredit without a bank — and without an oracle. The lender prices the collateral, so there is no liquidation price, no margin call, and no owner key.
useOpen Lend. Post an offer to lend, or take an open offer to borrow. Repay principal + interest before maturity to unlock your collateral; miss it and anyone may close the loan, sending the collateral to the lender.
vote
vote ↗
isGovernance: cast your weight on live proposals. 1 FTB = 1 vote (the genesis vote is weighted in FLM).
whyThe community decides. Counting is replicated chain state — no server tallies it — and turnout is the real security measure.
useOpen Vote, read the options in on-chain order, pick one, and sign. One vote per snapshot address.
board (proposals)
board ↗
isWhere change is proposed: submit a proposal by posting an exact, refundable FTB bond.
whyBonded admission keeps spam out — honest proposals get the bond back on a clean close, spam forfeits it.
useOpen Board, write your proposal, and post the bond shown next to the form. It's escrowed, not spent.
discord bond
discord ↗
isBonded membership: entry to the FTB Discord costs a 1,000 FTB bond posted on-chain.
whySkin in the game. Scam a member and the community can file an accusation and vote to liquidate and burn your bond.
useOpen Discord, post the bond, verify your deposit, and you're in. Honest actors get it back on a clean exit.
trust nothing — check everything
verify
verify ↗
isA provenance page: every contract address, the merkle root, the cap and the seal state shown verbatim.
whyThe realistic attack is a look-alike site serving you bad addresses. Check these against the public repo before you sign anything.
useOpen Verify, compare each hash with the GitHub source, and see which public mirrors are live and current.
your own node
top-right · own node
isThe option to point the site at a Neo node you run yourself instead of the default one.
whyA user reading from their own node cannot be censored or shown a doctored view. The site marks any node it doesn't vouch for.
useClick own node top-right, paste your node's URL. It's checked for health and stored only in your browser.
Every figure on the app is read live from the Neo N3 chain — there is no server counting on your behalf, and the code and proofs are public. When in doubt, verify, then sign.
